A shy reclusive lady is convinced by an invisible entity to sing. Subsequently, she finds herself noticed by a sleazy talent agent and her talent being showcased on-stage. She also meets a kind but nervous man who becomes her best friend.

A hopeless introvert, Little Voice, can only manage to express herself by singing along to records in her room, in the timeless voices of Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe and others. Once her eccentric mother’s new boyfriend, a sleazy talent scout, overhears Little Voice’s incredible crooning, he’ll do anything to drag the recluse into the spotlight and make her a star.
